Job Summary:

Maximizes sales representative effectiveness by determining and solving training needs.


Minimum of 3 years hospice selling experience. Two to five years management experience in health care marketing preferably, SNF, home care or hospice. Effective communication abilities to include strong verbal and written group presentation skills are essential. Ability to critique and teach effective marketing/public presentation skills; BA or BS degree preferred; Hospice requires excellent sales skills with a proven track record of success over a multi-year period in healthcare sales; At least three years of documented, successful sales to physicians, discharge planners, etc. or related experience in the healthcare industry, preferred; Employee must be computer literate, have a reliable car, valid drivers license, current car insurance, and good driving record. Responsibilities:

Prepares new sales representatives by conducting orientation to sales process; developing individual coaching plans; providing resources and assistance; scheduling orientation drive-alongs with senior representatives, developing strategic action territory plans. Determines training needs by traveling with sales representatives; observing sales encounters; studying sales results reports; conferring with Administrators and Director of Business Development. Develops individual results by maintaining policy and procedure resources; providing coaching; conducting training sessions; developing outcome improvement resources. Improves training effectiveness by developing new approaches and techniques; making support readily available; integrating support with routine job functions. Supports training financial objectives by recommending budget items; controlling costs. Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations. Provides training and support of the Playmaker CRM system. Update Homestead Hospice Sales Training as necessary. Manage sales training meetings and webinars. Support adoption of existing sales strategies through training. Phone Sales Oversight back-up support for out of state programs Accomplishes sales training and organization mission by completing related results as needed. Performs other routine administrative duties as assigned by his/her direct supervisor.
