The Seapower Whole Life Engineering & Suport Department seeks an experienced Technical Training Developer to support the Seapower Capability Center (SCC) programs. The Training Developer is responsible for the development and delivery of courseware and technical instruction pertaining to the operation and maintenance of the of SCC programs. This effort includes the development of classroom courseware, curriculum, materials and instructions in accordance with contract requirements. Specific responsibilities include: Development of operational and maintenance training technical content including exercises, presentations and accompanying materials Support customer meetings and In-Process Reviews (IPRs) Generation of monthly metrics in support of program reviews, customer data requests and Contracted Deliverable Requirements List (CDRL) submittals Researching information from technical documentation, engineering personnel, or other technical subject matter experts to design the appropriate learning solution Deliver instructor-led and online classroom training to stakeholders Assist in the development of a formalized Train-the-Trainer program Conduct training sessions and assist in evaluating the effectiveness of training activities Whole Life Engineering Directorate (WLED) is an Engineering organization whose main objective is to influence hardware, software and systems throughout their life cycle to assure effective operation, maintenance, reliability and economical ownership by the customer and end users. WLED is comprised of multi-disciplined Engineers responsible for all phases of the program from inception to system end of life. Engineering disciplines include PICC, Risk & Opportunity, Reliability, System Safety, Failure Reporting Analysis and Corrective Action System (FRACAS), Logistics Engineering, Part Risk and Obsolescence Management, Technical Manuals and Training. Required Skills: Six (6) + years of related professional experience developing written content and/or delivering instruction Experience designing and developing instructor-led content with technical subject matter content Ability to obtain a secret clearance Desired Skills: Demonstrated strong communication and organizational skills Excellent oral presentation skills, interpersonal communication and writing skills Self-sufficient, self-starter with proven success taking ownership of training projects Experience with Adobe Create Suite and Microsoft Office Experience in writing to military specifications Prior military service is a plus Required Education: BS/BA in English, Education, Technical Writing, Engineering, Mathematics, science, or a related (STEM) technical field. 8 + years of related experience may be considered in lieu of a BS/BA (each two years of related experience can substitute for one year of College) 115115
