Kforce Communication and Training Specialist in Phoenix, Arizona

Kforce has a client in search of a Communication and Training Specialist in Phoenix, Arizona (AZ). Essential Job Functions:

  • Create and conduct company-wide training programs and create training materials, usually supporting new or existing technologies being introduced to client's workforce

  • Monitors and reports the effectiveness of training programs and implement continuous improvements

  • Help support product owners to increase product adoption by conducting training and leveraging creative channels to make training more fun and appealing

  • Work directly with corporate and technology communication teams to craft communications targeted for entire company, supporting major initiatives, or business as usual functions

  • Works in, but not limited to the Microsoft Productivity (O365, SharePoint, spaces, etc), enterprise social (Jive) and fileshare domains supporting collaboration tools within digital workplace

  • Author user and support staff documentation, knowledge cases, FAQ's, videos, user guides etc

  • Bachelor's degree in a related area is preferred

  • 3-5 years of experience in the field or in a related area preferred

  • 1-3 years of experience in the field or in a related area

  • Experience in creating and conducting corporate training

  • Experience in technical writing

  • Experience in working in a fast-paced, matrixed organization

  • Experience as an instructional designer to design training that tells story, ability to quickly learn new products and features with existing product releases to turn into training for users

  • Knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures within training and communications

  • Knowledge in Microsoft O365

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills

  • Ability to tailor communication based on audience (eg technical vs non-technical)

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience in training O365 products (specifically including SharePoint related micro services: Delve, OneDrive, myAnalytics, etc)

  • Experience in supporting O365 migrations

  • Experience in creating and implementing guidelines for corporate training and communications best practices

  • Skilled in user experience, experience with recording tools (Captiva, Camtasia) to make training videos
