Duties and Responsibilities liEstablish a family-like environment in the residence that includes modeling supporting behaviors and expectations./li liAssist youth with participating in daily schedule and routine, including but not limited to meal preparation, medication administration, developing independent skills, and preparing and organizing activities./li liProvide transportation for youth to appointments according to outlined safety rules./li liMonitor overnight activity at the home./li /ul hr / Job Qualifications Education, Training, and Licensure/Certification liHigh school diploma or equivalency preferred./li liAbility to learn de-escalation techniques and become CPR and first aid certified./li /ul Experience liDirect care experience in a mental health field or working with vulnerable adults preferred./li /ul Knowledge Skills and Abilities liAbility to read, write and speak fluent English; Spanish preferred./li liEffective oral and written communication skills./li liAbility to work independently with minimal supervision./li liGood communication skills with ability to work compassionately and display sensitivity to persons served./li /ul Additional Work Requirements liUnrestricted valid driver's license with good driving record.
