Gympass Key Account Manager - Fitness Partnerships in Chicago, Illinois
Gympass is a disruptive health and wellness platform that connects gyms, studios and health clubs to companies and their employees. We are currently in 4,000 cities and 14 countries and quickly scaling up in the United States.
The Key Account Manager-Fitness Partnerships will be responsible for both developing and nurturing our relationships with our key gyms, gym chains, and studios with the aim of expanding our global fitness network. This person will be one of the earliest members of the fitness partnerships team in the United States, and will be seen as a key individual for insight and strategy regarding growth opportunities within the fitness market.
Develop gym partners via outbound cold calls, lead generation and closing sales.
Research, prospect and sell new studio and gym partners in target areas help Gympass expand its geographic footprint.
Initiates sales activity via phone, text and email, including but not limited to: introduction, follow-ups, product demonstration and reminders.
Demonstrating Gympass software, products, and partner solutions to potential gym partners and assisting them in understanding why Gympass is the best solution for their gym/studio.
Map gym partner organizations and build relationships with multiple contacts focusing on decision-makers.
Establishes business relationships with prospective customers to generate new business.
Consistently achieve outbound prospecting objectives and key performance indicators as defined for the role.
Regularly communicate successes and roadblocks to manager to better inform the team’s goals and targets.
Achieve and consistently exceed monthly sales goals by maintaining daily KPIs and metrics.
Develop creative, fun, and innovative ways to connect and build out your relationships with potential partners and share best practices across the team.
Identifies advantages and key differentiators as compared to competitors within our various markets.
Plans and organizes personal sales strategy as well as strategically plans daily/weekly/monthly schedule to maximize return on time investment.
Participates in trade shows and conventions as required.

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience in related field required
1-3 years of experience with sales experience, partner or account management experience preferably in a software/technology environment.
Experience selling into gyms in the fitness, health, and or wellness industry.
Proven ability to use strategic selling skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Able to travel regionally up to 30% of the time
Proficiency in PowerPoint, Excel and Salesforce or similar CRM.
Outstanding phone presence and willingness to make multiple phone and email contacts per day.
Strong time management, organizational and relationship-building skills, creative problem solver and self-sufficient worker.
Comfortable contacting and facilitating business relationships with decision makers and C-level executives.
Comfortable working in a demanding, fast-paced, numbers-driven environment.
Must be able to adapt to evolving department/role, able to take on new challenges as they become delegated to the position.
